I work in a project management team in a shared service working for multiple clients. My role consists on managing the financials for the clients reviewing time and expenses before proceeding to invoice. I also manage the status of new pieces of work we have secured with the client making sure they are progressed through the correct stages before they get singed.
Yes i have learned many new skills while working in this role. I work with many key stakeholders on a day to day basis so my communication skills are improving. I also work with complex excel documents so my skills around robotics and improving automated processes have improved within the last year.
I have enjoyed the programme over the last 3 years a lot. I have learned so much as an apprentice whilst studying and in the workplace. It has given me valuable experience to help my growth as a man and in a professional way. I hope for this to continue after the apprenticeship.
The structure of the split between study and work is good, however the organisation at newcastle college wasnt as good as i expected upon arrival in my first year.
I received a lot of help from accenture during the course of the apprenticeship. The help from the apprentice lead and line managers really helped me through it.
I received a lot of help in my years of study, although studying online was more difficult due to covid, lecturers were still available to help when needed.
In my particular role, only a couple of modules help me with this as im currently in a non technical role at accenture.
There are many extra curricular activities to take part in such as quiz nights, virtual exercise classes and gatherings
Yes
Accenture like to look after their employees very well as well as getting the best out of their employees. I feel like there is always another goal to achieve which really helps personal development, giving each individual the chance to improve. There is also so much variety in what type of roles are available, giving any indiviudal the chance to enjoy work.
Be yourself, be confident and do the best as you can at all times.
