Leading a team across 9 HSBC branches within the Newcastle Local Market

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learning and development has been significant throughout the apprenticeship. From Financial Markets Regulations & Ethics to Organisational Behaviour for Managers. Academic learns that I put into practice on a daily basis.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

At times it is challenging, particularly when deadlines for assignments are looming however the self development is evident and has significantly positively impacted my career to date. Really enjoying and thriving on this programme.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Obviously impacted by Covid however adapted well and considered our input on transformation. There are some learns, sometimes communication could be improved and there have been delays with results.

Unlimited.

Minimal support has been sought but available when requested.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Considerably, particularly in writing reports and influencing others. Enhanced understanding of the wider banking industry has also strengthened my communications to the team.

Absolutely. Currently training for the Great North Run supported and sponsored by HSBC.
