my role is that I bring people who have house phones and broadband in to service my role also consists of keeping people connected to there broadband. my daily responsibilities are to keep the telecommunication network up to date and working. i also interact with customers on a daily basis so it is my responsibility to look representable for the company.
I have gained a lot of new skills while I have joined the company which I didn't have before. such as putting up new wires to customer premises making connections in the PCP boxes
I have enjoyed my experience so far with the company
the company has organised and structured everything well as they ease you in with an induction for a week then they follow it up with a intensive 13 week training course where they teach you everything you need to know about the role. as soon as I have been on the road I have had a lot of support from my manager and my work colleagues.
i have received a lot of support from my manager and my patch leads
I have received a good amount of support from my training provider but it would be better if I could do the course in a classroom as it would be a lot easier to understand certain stuff and easier to raise questions
everything i have learnt from training and my apprentice helps me in my day to day work
yes there there is a lot of opportunities to do voluntary work
Yes
because it is a great company to work for and the company looks after it employees by giving them discount on a lot of products and also because it is a secure job from the start
apply fast as the spaces are going quick and do your research in the company and what they do as you would need a rough idea of what you do in the company and what they expect of you
