Within my role I am responsible for providing training to my learners via their employer organisation. This involves working remotely from home and also travelling out to their locations. I also help to write content for the qualifications and help to manage the accounts ensuring that learners are progressing as they should be.
I have worked in admin based roles for a long time now, but by taking the L4 framework it has helped me to research further into why communication and it's varied types is important. I have also been reviewing my own development and where I am and what I still need to achieve
I have found the qualification tough, but this is more to do with myself than the actual qualification. I am much more of a practical learner and I find it hard work writing assignments, this qualification is very assignment heavy and I struggle to motivate myself to sit and type them up!
The qualification and delivery has been structured well - it was set out with monthly catch ups with my assessor where we completed discussions and I found evidence to provide for my portfolio. As mentioned before though assignment writing is not for me and although this is not the fault of the training provider and frameworks are now obsolete - there could have been a way found around this
My employer has always been supportive of allowing me time to complete work if I have needed it - however this has always been difficult as my diary is usually pretty busy
My training provider has been very supportive during my time on programme and understanding of my situation
It has made me more aware of why communication and personal development is important, it has also made me more aware of how businesses are structured and why certain things have to happen. It as forced me to research into theories that I was aware of but didn't know much about
There has been in the past but I don't know of any currently
