My role as a junior content producer apprentice is to create and design posts and content for our social media platforms but also to design and work on company items like guides and handbooks. On a day-to-day basis i am mainly situated in the design element but also get to work with a digital marketer and see what we can come up with together.
I had some knowledge in some design aspects but coming into my apprenticeship i have learnt a lot about certain packages in Microsoft but learning a whole new system in Canva has really helped understand the lengths of what it can do. I also feel like i've developed personal skills like, confidence and teamwork which is amazing!
I really enjoy my programme, the experience thus far has been really fun and i feel as though you're constantly working on different pieces of content so you can never get bored. It's also a rewarding process to work really hard on something then see the final product being used with clients and within the rest of the team.
I would say my programme is structured really well, there is a great balance between remote and in-office working which is a really nice balance, and having a tutor to also help guide me along the way of my programme is also great! It makes me feel as though I have someone with expertise that i can question and learn from.
I receive a good amount of support from my employer whenever I have or doubt or question I always feel as though I can bring it up and be open and honest with my team. I never feel like I have to do things alone which is a great feeling to have.
I once again feel like I get all the support necessary to the qualifications that I'm working towards, I have a tutor that has been assigned to me that specializes in all the areas I'm working towards which feels like I have a huge support system behind me for my end goal.
I feel like my qualification through my training provider helps me round out my role overall, as i now have multiple perspectives of like media work and opinions to bounce off of and gain feedback into the qualification I'm working towards which feels great to have in a working environment.
There are a lot of extra-curricular activities within the company that are ran on teams which gain you access to communicate to other people in other departments which are fun and interactive, I have yet to experience more of them but I look forward to doing more of them with the team
Yes
I feel like LMP are a really reliable and encouraging company that always try to incorporate my opinions and thoughts and feelings of different work and what we could do. I also believe they are so committed to making everyone's experience here the best possible, and I'm sure that's what everyone looks for when searching for an apprentice or full time role.
I'd say the most important thing is to be authentically yourself and be honest on how much you can do in your skillset because LMP are more than happy to help train you up to be the best possible version of yourself within the workplace, offering employability training for people in which it might be their first working experience.
