I support the grocery account managers by completing various business administration tasks such as building supplier pitches, loading forecasts into SalesForce, raising and GRing POs through SAP, sending weekly update emails, taking meeting minutes, and presenting quarterly presentations to our key retailers.
Yes, my IT skills have massively improved! I now know how to use a variety of different software packages such as Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SAP, SalesForce, and Tableau.
I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship programme, despite the majority of it being from home. The experience was still amazing and in some ways more beneficial due to the challenging circumstances that I had to overcome.
My programme was well organised and I had a lot of support throughout. This ensured I was on top of both my everyday work tasks as well as my apprenticeship work.
I had good support from my employer. I would also have weekly 121 sessions with my line manager to further aid this.
I would receive a training session/ masterclass every 2 months. I also had 2 coaching sessions monthly.
I understand my organisation's structure and what its mission, vision, and values are. This helps me understand how my work contributes to the organisation and makes me strive to perform my best to help reach these goals.
There are lot's of events and activities to participate in like masterclasses, workshops, webinars, and speaker series. There are also virtual coffee calls and yoga classes etc for networking.

The experience has been amazing! I have received lots of support and been encouraged to develop myself by taking on extra-curricular activities to help develop myself. As a result, I have really developed my knowledge, skills and behaviours over the course of my apprenticeship.
Be confident! Don't be afraid to ask questions or for help because the support is amazing. Also, be proactive and take advantage of the different opportunities around you to help develop yourself. Lastly, being adaptable is key, changes happen all the time both expected and unexpected.
