  • I work within a well organised team to make sure that firms and consumers are following the FCA's rules and regulation. • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • As a trainee accountant I have learnt and built on my numerical skills. On top of this I also have to analyse data and interpret what this shows. I also have to then deliver this information to other people within the organisation which has developed my speaking and listening skills. The FCA are very supportive and look to develop you as a person as well as your professional skills.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have recieved lots of support. I have so far only worked remotely on my qualification. I have had to reach out to tutors to explain things through the very helpful online portal and have also rang the team for advice.
