My Role is to install, fix or maintain large and small office data and telephone solutions within the business and public sector. I am the face for the customer to build trust with BT while providing the customer with a service and maintaining a great customer experiences, giving advice and support.
I have learnt a lot of new skills and the skills are ever growing and expanding every day. The skill of customer service is the most import skill and can be split in to so many areas from making sure the customer is happy with what we can do compared with the dreams of what they want us to do.
The program was amazing in every way, the opportunities that are on offer are second to none I have been support in every way I wanted to grow. From team activities to Volunteering. the company have provide extra learning in every area i haven't wanted to grow in including the Director making time to coach me.
The hole programme was very well structured from time away at collage to on the job training. All tools and equipment were provided I was assigned a coach for continuous support. Time was set aside every week so I had plenty of time for studies. Job skilled training was also provided to be accepted for a higher grade on completion.
Full support was given in everyway there was always someone to call and talk too. my manger was always available, and my coach as well as contact and support from others on the same apprenticeship, we are still friend to this day. Even the director of the company would make time to support if needed.
Full support was given from everyone in the company and support from the learning team. from the start it was clear what qualifications I was working toward and throughout the apprenticeship I was offered extra learning which was made clear the extra qualifications I would gain and the roles I could work towards.
All the qualifications I worked on while I was in my apprenticeship were a massive help in my apprenticeship every one was so important to my role, most off the jobs I have to carry out would be impossible with out training . Training is given for every part of the role I do.
The company arrange a lot of extra activities. I attended a leader ship training course which was arranged through the army which was a weekend away team building, and fun activities including rifle range raft building. volunteering was also heavily promoted to give back to the community this was arrange during a normal working day.
