So many new skills! Working in an office environment was first before improving communication and people skills. Writing emails to external stakeholders, problem solving and critical thinking to name a few.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship and would recommend it to anyone that was interested.
Our General Management scheme is very well organised with a buddy system to ensure you're supported and sponsors to organise the scheme.
As previously mentioned, there is the buddy system and sponsors on the scheme but as a GM scheme all apprentices and grads are close.
Working towards a degree one day a week means TfL gives us one study day a week. They are really flexible in allowing study time ahead of coursework deadlines or exams.
It's really helpful being able to apply the theory you learn through the degree to the workplace.
Yes! So many extra curricular activities - we have a variety of staff network groups to get involved in and sports teams. We even have the graduate and apprentice committee especially for apprentices and grads.
Yes
I would really recommend this apprenticeship as they support and structure of the scheme really helps to identify areas of the business you'd like to work in.
