I offer business support to my team on a Dailey basis. My roles and responsibilities can change very fast, but my main focus is customer interaction (dealing with requests).
Yes, my IT skill set has been boosted massively since joining the apprenticeship. I am now able to simultaneously use different databases and IT resources to complicate my personal and professional work.
I have really enjoyed the whole apprenticeship. It has been a great way to meet new people, build a strong knowledge of business administration and it has helped me to clearly see where I would like to be in the future.
The over all program was really well structured, I knew exactly what was expected of me. The only reason I rated it a 9 was due to the Rocky transfer of working from Home due to COVID-19
The support offered by the DE&S was more than I could ever wish for. Everybody from my daily team, line manager, talent coach and other members of staff has been outstanding. I haven’t had 1 bad experience with the organisation.
The support from the training provider has been excellent. My talent coach always managed to respond/ offer guidance on the same day. She always took the time to explain where and how I could go to receive the correct feedback and guidance. Over all brilliant!
The qualification has made me look in detail about every aspect of business administration, which I think is an amazing way to get people interested. My professional skill set has been boosted thanks to this and I would recommend and apprenticeship to everyone!
I have supported COVID-19 volunteering for DE&S. I have spoken at 2 events about my apprenticeship and my personal life. I have recently started Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
No
The level of support and guidance offered by the DE&S really passed my expectation. I was welcomed with open arms and was really looked after. The work and course work were always relevant to each other which I found really helpful.
1. Don’t be scared to ask questions. Everybody is really friendly and always happy to support you. 2. Really push yourself. I found putting myself forward for tasks I wouldn’t usually do really fun and I was able to meet amazing people doing it.
