  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I've really enjoy the programme so far and have learnt so much in the space of 9 months. I've enjoyed getting to know my team (virtually) and also finding that any question is a sensible question if it can help you to learn.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is structured well and allows time for me to work Monday-Thursday while having Friday as my "study day" for my apprenticeship course work. This works really well as my team know when I am available and it allows me to structure my week well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification will definitely help me within my role as I have learnt all about stakeholder management and also about change management within the workplace. It has also given me a chance to write about everything I have achieved during my apprenticeship so I can look back at it in years to come.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • In a month or so I am doing a walk for charity with my department which we have been training for by using a step counting app. We also play a game of taskmaster every Thursday after work which is really fun and has been great for getting to know people.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Unilever to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a brilliant company to work for and so inclusive to all. It has so many learning resources and everyone is so happy to see you succeed within the company. Despite being a huge company, you get to know everyone so quickly because it is such an open and friendly company.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Just be yourself and focus on the difference that you could make to Unilever. The company really see the value each individual can add to the shared experience and are so open to new ideas and new ways of thinking. Be open to new opportunities and try and bring a new perspective.
