I am a Fibre to the premises engineer, my Job is to provide Fibre broadband to customers premises to deliver a faster network that they already have. This may include working on the overhead network up Poles or in the Underground network through ducts, also to provide excellent customer service to promote myself and the company.
This is a completely new career path for me so i have learnt many new skills from how to climb a pole safely using a harness and working belt to how to open up a lid in the ground correctly
i find this job challenging but have self satisfaction at the end of each day
I fell the course could be condensed into a 6 months course
I have full support for my employer and my Learning and development team
