I’m the assistant of a pub/restaurant, I run my own shifts, open up clean down, serve customers run food. Sometimes I cook the food, pour drinks and just make sure everyone is happy
Doing my apprenticeship has taught me that ther is more to just pulling pints in the pub game, I’ve learnt about upselling how to read customers and to just do my job better
I enjoy it because [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has taught me a lot and it kept me sane through lock down with the pubs being shut
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has never let me down with anything he’s always available to help me out and help me with any questions I have.
Most of the time I’ve always had [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] to help me out but my manger and my head chef has helped me out the odd time just going over a few of the different topics with me
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has always supported me and always pushed me to continue with the programme and help me do it to the best of my potential.
It’s strengthened my knowledge about my job role and made me more aware whilst carrying out my day to day tasks.
