My role is Business Administration and it entails making phone calls, arranging meetings, filing, photocopying, printing, laminating and so much more. Administration is so important as it is one of the key elements associated with a high level of workplace productivity and efficiency. This also involves providing office support and keeping files neat and tidy.
Yes. I have learnt how to speak professionally when communicating with parents/guardians or other individuals who wish to address something to the school. My confidence now in comparison to when I first started has improved dramatically enabling me to face many different challenges daily and achieve my daily goals.
I highly enjoy my programme as it is very flexible and I know how to manage my time efficiently and effectively. This allows me to submit work on time and achieve certain goals by a specific deadline. My programme varies in daily tasks which widens my opportunities and strengthens my experience in many different areas.
My programme is very well structured and extremely organised. This is because I have a flexible timetable in which I can work with different departments in the school to gain more experience and knowledge in terms of what it’s like and adapt my useful skills to help teachers in the school. My transferable skills are extremely beneficial and I feel have had a positive impact to the school.
I receive a lot of support from my employer as they give regular phone calls to ensure that everything is going well at my place of work. I find this useful as it shows the employee that you are cares about you and knows that you can do well. Occasionally we do zoom meetings and meet with other apprentices which is really fun and we play games and participate in quizzes.
My training provider is highly supportive and we have regular meetings monthly to track my progress and check up on my portfolio to ensure it is up to date with all the work set for me to complete. They are very reliable and push you to do your best to achieve your highest possible grade.
I feel that my work set monthly which is completed reflects my entire qualification and overall grade. Pushing that one step further helps me to try harder and do better giving me the opportunity to push my grade up and the chance of me achieving a distinction higher. Completing my work on time is important as it shows dedication and independence.
Yes. My work have Co-curricular activities for pupils Monday-Thursday of which different year groups have different days. I occasionally participate as I classify this as good experience and it is a fun activity. Clubs such as Basketball, MMA, Boxing, Cooking, Arts and Crafts and activities offsite happen weekly which is very fun and exciting
Yes
They are very supportive and friendly and have a passion for what they do. Inspire ATA have an extraordinary output and do their best to ensure you are happy at your place of work. Occasionally they arrange zoom meetings with other apprentices you can meet and participate in activities and online games together.
There are no specific tips I would particularly give to Inspire ATA other than to keep doing what they are doing as they are an amazing organisation who believe in what they do and believe in their employees. They are very caring and believe in you to do your best.
