Repairing and servicing gas appliances or training to do this in a classroom environment
Have improved customer communication skills, and have developed technical skills working with tools
I enjoy my time out working, as I’m always doing different things and working in different environments
Due to COVID there have been issues with the running of the apprenticeship, meaning that at times things can be quite unorganised
I am able to ask for help whenever I need it
When in the academy I receive help if I need it’s, however sometimes it is unclear what work I must complete in order to progress
I am able to learn a lot of the skills in more depth than I would on patch, helping me gain more knowledge in the technical side

Gas engineering is a good trade to be in and British Gas is a trusted name
Make sure you have good customer skills, you can learn the technical side but being a people person is a natural quality
