At the moment I’m in college so doing a lot of classroom work. When in workshop I am required to measure, mark out, cut, roll and tack thin sheets of metal by using an engineering drawing.
I have learnt a lot of new skills such as how to read engineering drawings, how to accurately mark out and how to use new pieces of machinery.
I am currently really enjoying my programme and an excited to carry on with my apprenticeship
I have a good idea of the structure of my apprenticeship and I think it’s going well. However things can be organised a bit better at times such as transferring to sask
I believe I revive a lot of support from my employer. Everyone is always keen to provide me with information or help me when needed.
I believe I am well supported and always receive advice if I was struggling something. They are always there to support me.
Over the past few months I have received a lot of feedback which helps me improve my work throughout my apprenticeship. Therefore I have learnt what to do better and how to improve.
There are sports activities to get involved in and also a lot of stem work that you can help with. Along side things such as beach cleans.
Yes
It has a lot of support not only with your apprenticeship but with things such as mental health too. They are a very helpful and good business to work for.
Just be yourself and make sure you express yourself through your interviews and applications.
