  • I have learnt many things in my apprenticeship, including the marking out, cutting, forming and installation of sheet metal components.

  • I enjoy it very much so. Both the curriculum, and the work carried out is new and exciting, along with the people that are met along the way.

  • I feel as though the structure us organised well enough that I can follow it easy, and if help is needed it is given quickly.

  • I feel as though I recieve sufficient support from my employer with many things, such as both practical and theoretical work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I recieve adequate support in my training, and if any problems arise I can talk to them to sort it efficiently

  • I feel as though it aids my role well, and allows me to build on both new and existing skills.

  • I took part in an outward bound experience with work with my fellow colleagues which took place over a week

  • Yes

  • The company itself has a network of supports that help you with everything that you could need, such as practical and theory work, along with health issues eg mental health


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Just be yourself, and put in 100% effort into your work, ensuring that quality is of the most important.
