I answer social media comments for several banks.
I have learnt a lot about the importance of customer service, how it affects me, the customer and the company. I have also learned the importance of professional development.
I enjoy the zoom sessions and learning new things to better myself. I find the time given to do the assignments is not enough sometimes and have found it difficult to get the assignments done on time
The programme is well organised, set out and delivered. As mentioned above, some more care could be given to how long assignments are as I am not a student and do have an 8 hour a day job to do.
My employer is happy to give me the time allotted as agreed with the organisers of the apprenticeship. However, when more time is needed or i'm in training for other things, getting that time is not always allowed.
My tutor has been fantastic, very supportive and accommodating when I was struggling, needed extra time or extra help. She was great at explaining the jargon and was very patient.
I have a better understanding of how the business works and why it does what it does. I also have a better understanding of why excellent customer service is essential for the company and myself to succeed.
There usually are i'm sure, but i have joined the business during the Covid pandemic so I have not really had a chance to witness them
Yes
Because I know they are always there for their customers and always improving to make banking easier and safer for their customers.
Having a basic understanding of banking will help with initial training, however the company will train you to a high standard. Be open and willing and you will go far.
