  • I am a sales apprentice, this involves me calling customers, maintaing accounts and prospecting new ones. As well as this, finding new opportunities.

  • Ive learnt lots of new skills such as communicating with customers in a professional manner

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Softcats programme is different to any other programme in the UK as the culture in softcat is amazing and so I enjoy the work i do

  • Very well organised

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Huge amounts of support from previous apprentices, my apprentice manager, my team leader, my deputy team leader. This is only a few of a long list of people that i can go to to receive support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have regular sessions with them weekly as well as email chains back and forth between these sessions, so we receive lots of support from them

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • We do sales sessions with someone who has been in sales her whole life so every session with her i learn something new to try the following day when i hit the phones.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are many activities, my personal favourite is softcats football team

  • Yes

  • Softcats an amazing place to work at, like i mentioned the culture is like no other. Makes working there fun and enjoyable :)

  • Be yourself, ask for help when needed, be confident
