Currently I am in college full time doing technical engineering level 3. I attend classes everyday and have some time in the workshop gaining experience of different areas of engineering.
I have learnt lots of new skills. At the moment I am learning how to weld and will be learning how to test the welds i have done.
I am really enjoying learning new skills I have just found it particularly hard this year with the lockdown as I have 2 children which made it very difficult for me.
I have found the program to be quite unorganized and I feel the communication from tutors to employers and managers and examining body has been poor. I do understand it has been a difficult year but I feel better communication would of improved this.
The support from my employer has been good especially in the difficult times.
I feel this is different from tutor to tutor I find some are very supportive and helpful and others aren’t approachable or helpful.
I am unsure as I haven’t had any experience in my role yet.
I am not aware of any as we are based at college at the moment.
Yes
Bae is a very supportive business and I feel well looked after and they have given me lots of opportunities to better myself.
It’s not easy but worth it and BAE will support you through it and the work benefits are amazing.
