  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am still at the start of my apprenticeship journey. So far i am finding it very good overall but there are parts which still confuse me. I think this is also to do with the role i am training for, which is also new for everyone not just myself.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised and structured. The university and my work place (Rotherham Hospital) have made a very well structured time table and stuck to it. This has helped greatly in managing my own time and those who i work with. Due to the covid circumstances many face to face and direct contact with mentors and the apprenticeship team hasn't been available but hopefully that will change

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • From my immediate team i work with and my line manager my support has been fantastic. My academic assessor has been second to none and given me so much help and advice well above and beyond. Again due to covid, any other support has been tough to gain as i am unsure of who people really are and most contact is via email only which lacks personality.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • University of Sheffield has been brilliant. See and speak to tutors every Wednesday and they are always available via email and also very great at understanding our shift patterns and make themselves present at all times regardless. Clinical educator has been amazing too with any issues ive had regarding my alternative placements.
