I work in a team audit team with various people. we travel to the client site and if it is a far journey we are able to stay the night in a hotel. we look at documents and proof that the company is operating effectively and when we receive this evidence after a range of testing we are able to make a judgement.
I have developed professional scepticism. I have also improved on my communication and organisation skills. I am able to work collectively and successfully in a team and am able to communicate everyone's ideas effectively showing fairness and a good team spirit. I have also become much more confident in being able to speak to clients.
I enjoy my programme as I am able to work in the real world with real problems and gain an experience on how to tackle these. I enjoy my 360 programme as I am able to rotate around different departments and chose where I wish to specialise which allows me to explore various parts of the business and what my future can hold.
I believe the programme is well structured as it is quite clear and easy to understand allowing you to fully take control of your growth. we are able to also communicate areas we wish to move to which are clearly taken into consideration showing that the structure is organised yet has room for us to also be part of our journey
I receive a good amount of support from my employer as I am able to communicate when I feel necessary. I also get bpp calls every few months to track my learning along with additional support calls if required. I am always able to talk to the apprentice team, or whichever team for that matter. my performance manager and leader are always available and check up when required.
I receive a good amount of support as I have constant calls and meetings with bpp when required which allows me to focus growth and focusing on moving forward. I am able to email tutors and have a range of different things to use when studying for exams before this and during
I believe it helps me understand the role in a better and much more detailed way. this is because the things I learn about I am able to implement into my role and use them to work things out and how to go about in different situations which is clear.
there are some extra curricular activities but I believe this could be improved on. the ones available are things such as religious societies and sporting activities but I feel there could me more in order to target each indivuals wants and needs as especially due to the time now it is more important
Yes
I believe it helps you and supports your growth allowing you to be able to take control of your journey and life in this professional environment. the skills learnt are amazing and assist in many processes of life. you learn how to interact in a professional environment and work along with gaining qualifications along the way in a very supportive environment.
one tip I would give is to try your best as KPMG recognise hard work and potential so to always reach as high up as possible. I would also recommend them to network as much as possible to be able to see the different departments KPMG has to offer and which is the best fit.
