Cabler - rodding and roping underground ducts, pulling fibre optic cables in to build new fibre network. Reading job packs and map plans.
Yes, map reading, understanding how the telecoms network is in the ground and how it works.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship. It is a complete career change for me and I really enjoy working outside and being hands on.
