The apprentice programme requires me to rotate across the four main finance functions within the organisation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger & Compliance. To date, I have covered all the 4 functions. This has enabled me to apply theoretical learning into everyday practice.
Currently a member of AAT after completing my Level 4 qualification. Gained knowledge and skills in areas such as leadership, analysis, communication. From my role and the rotations around the functions it has allowed me to understand the importance of teamwork to drive success in the business.
I really enjoy my programme, from the team members to the study and the work itself. This apprenticeship is really in depth and my knowledge is constantly pushed to improve myself and this is something I find really beneficial.
The programme is really well organised, we have set tasks in each team and also have the opportunity to network outside of our usual teams and get involved in a number of different tasks and events company wide. Support is always available if needed.
I receive a good level of support from my employer on all aspects of my apprenticeship.
I am finished studying towards my qualification now and the support received was of good standard.
I can better apply theoretical learning to every day work life and I can suggest new ideas and improvements based on my learning.
