Working on daily operational tasks to clean inter company invoices, such as invoices on hold or queries frokm site, actioning mailbox queries aswell as completing intercompany netting processes as well as month end reconciliations
Developed my team work, alongisde a whole host of new accounting and software skills
I honestly really enjoy working for Cummins, some of the work can get a bit repetitive but as its the same process but with different/new problems it tends to keep it fresh
It is very well organised, from being able to go to my line manager, my boss, my tutors through my AAT learning and my work-college contacts i have a lot of structure to my apprenticeship
I get support everyday from people above who not only help me but push me to learn and grow within my role.
We are in regular contact through email, google classrooms and we also have a tutor through cummins who I have monthly meetings with regarding college
The knowledge i gain from my qualifications has helped massively in work, through double entry, journal entries and knowing how to debit/credit correctly as a few examples.
To be truthful I joined the company during covid and whilst were in the pandemic i havent got in the office to experience anything. I am not able to give a proper answer to this question as i just dont know so thats why i'll rate it as 10
Yes
It has given me a lot of opportunities to grow and learn within my role in the short months i've been at Cummins and i know there will be even more. As an apprenticeship i can't moan at the support i've received especially with covid
Show interest into the business, if you show to your employer you know about them and would be committed to working for therm then you get the same commitment back from them when it comes to working for them
