i deal with customer queries and help with every day banking needs whilst finding others ways in which to be able to help save them or make them money
yes i have developed my personal skills in dealing with people and also in how to look out for extra needs, whilst also improving my time and people management skills.
I thoroughly enjoyed my programme as it allowed me to put my knowledge into practice and not only know the what but the why aswell.
the initial organisation was amazing. however I personally had 7 coaches leave during my apprenticeship which turned a 18 month course into a 2 and a half year programme.
I recieved plenty of support from my employer when i relocated branches but i knew that if i wanted to get the most out of my programme i would need to put in extra work myself.
my first and last coach gave me so much support and truly helped me to achieve a great grade in the programme, the in between however were very uninterested in myself as a learner
my training has helped me in leaps and bounds by allowing me the extra knowledge and confidence in the procedures and products surrounding banking. Therefore am able to truly help my customers and other colleagues.
due to the current covid climate not that many hbut we have tried to keep in touch in a social aspect.
Yes
because it allows you to truly help people and make a difference to everyone possible and the face when people are able to afford their first home or start a savings habit is nothing short of inspirational.
Just be yourself and don't worry if you don't know banking too well, you can learn finance you cant learn a personality.
