As a Barclays Apprentice hired as a Technical Delivery Manager my day to day job role includes stakeholder management, project impact analysis reviews, project calls and management emails. I also manage implementation which involves documentation creation for audit of code implementation as well as release planning and monitoring of delivery.
New skills are all technical in nature: - COBOL code development skills - DevOps collaboration tools - Organising and pulling together impact analysis's - Resource management
I rolled off May 6th 2021. I enjoyed my experience. I enjoyed the opportunity to get my foot in the door of a well known blue chip company. I have enjoyed the overall ability to pick up side of the desk non BAU projects to better myself and my skill development.
