  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • Fibre jointer - this consists of splicing and connecting up the fibre network in cities that are transferring from copper to fibre. climbing poles and going in boxs to strip and splice fibre

    • This is completely new to me so everything i have learnt is brand new and exciting.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • So far its been a great experience and keep feeling lucky that I got given such an opportunity and career path that i can rally knuckle down and progress in

    • Very organised and quite large the training facilities were very impressive and made me feel welcomed and ready to learn new life skills

    • So much support is given be it through face to face or online and phone chat theres wellfare and wellbeing sections guides to look at and feel safe

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • Great support weekly calls with the team going through the apprenticeship goals and portfolio work

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • The training has helped me greatly and i have learnt parts that i wouldnt of known about.

    • yes there are sport groups and teams to join

    • just go in ready to learn and enjoy your time my time so far has been great
