Thoroughly, I have had plenty of opportunities and experiences within the company - I would suggest if anyone is interested in engineering should work here, BB has a large variety of sectors
Well structured but not too restrictive, if you take up any extra opportunities such as DofE or other placements your managers will take this into consideration and re-balance you pathway in the company. Personally I have also experienced multiple sectors while working at BB
Plenty, when I first started I got plenty of training and introductions to the relevant teams - they also encouraged me to ask plenty of questions if I was ever unsure. In terms of additional opportunities - I always had someone to go to
My college experience was a little sloppy so we made our employer aware and now we no longer send apprentices there! Great that they valued our opinion/experience! Currently studying at University I receive plenty of support from my tutors and other students
My qualifications have helped me gain a much wider and more in depth knowledge to my everyday job as well as allowing me to meet new people from other companies and learn about their experiences. I have also been able to experience other areas such as on site.
I am currently working on my DofE Gold through BB and I know that they offer plenty of other activities such as the Three Peaks Challenge as well as supporting and pushing Volunteering by giving us the option of booking some of our time to it.
Yes
I have had a great experience within the company, it has helped me develop professionally in terms of work experience and also allowed me to develop personally in terms of socializing with new people and getting involved with additional activities.
Qualifications are important but experience and dedication shows so much more, if you have knowledge of how industry works that is highly valued. Volunteering is also very impressive because you're using your own time to help others or your community - showing dedication.
