I keep the salon clean and tidy throughout the day. Also I greet clients and take their jacket, and offer them a drink. I also shampoo some clients for other stylists as well as sometimes helping them with colours etc, I also run all the social media accounts for the salon.
Yes since starting at the salon I work at I have learnt new skills within hairdressing that I previously did not know how to do and I have also developed further knowledge on things I already knew. I also think my confidence has grown so much since starting work there.
Yes I absolutely love the course I Am doing and I enjoy both the hands on practical Experience of working in a salon and also i do enjoy the theory work I do too. I really do enjoy both Aspects of it. I also enjoy watching and learning of the other stylists within the salon.
I think the program is very well structed and I know what I need to do and when it’s needs to be done. Especially during lockdown I feel that they were very organised by giving us multiple webinars a day to keep us learning despite being unable to actually go to work.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and she gives a lot of support with my training and also supports me through anything else I may need help with. I also receive a lot of support from my manager and the other colleagues that I work with at the salon.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider with working towards my qualifications. Even when we went through two lockdowns they supported me throughout them both and made sure that we could still be learning and not falling behind despite not being able to actually go into work, they did this by offering lots of theory webinars and also practical demo zoom calls for us too watch witch I found very beneficial
I feel that my qualification through my training provider helps me to perform better in my role as they offer me lots of opportunities to help me grow as a stylist for example they ran lots of webinars and demonstrations over zoom to help me develop my knowledge which has helped me perform better since being back at work
At my place of work there are no extra curricular activities offered right now. However i have been on a few zoom calls with our product companies to help me further my knowledge around the products and also to watch and get ideas of how to use and style the hair with these products
Yes
I would recommend Realise training as I think they are very good as they are very well organised and have helped and supported me through my qualifications and they also helped me to develop and further my knowledge within the hairdressing both practical and theory aspects of the industry I.
I wouldn’t really have any tips of advice to give to any other person who would be applying to realise training as I think they are good at what they do and will help and support you through your qualifications so I wouldn’t really know what to say.
