I am so far really enjoying the degree programme, there is the correct balance of work and uni study.
On the whole, it is pretty well organised. It would be nicer if we could receive the pre-work material a lot earlier so that we can get on top of it.
My employer is very supporting, my line manager is another apprentice so really understands and reinforces the 20% off the job. The apprenticeship team hold regular keeping in touch sessions and I know I can reach out whenever I need too.
I am at the very beginning of my degree, but so far the pieces of work I have produced have been well supported, with the option to submit drafts and get feedback.
It gives me broader knowledge of the wider business and allows me to apply my job too that. I have much better knowledge of Excel which helps me streamline some of my tasks.
We have some social activities within our sales team, brew mondays where we have non-work chats.
