I work within the Close of Mortgage department. My job is extremely hands on with a lot of responsibility given very early on.
I have leant lots of skills alongside my degree. We have access to lots of different programs, communication skills and professional skills.
The program is really engaging, It has its challenges so be prepared for long hours and balancing study and work. I have a great team full of other apprentices and have made some life long friends.
The program is well structured, although university has been online they have done their best to adapt. We are given a big support network to assist with studying where we have concerns. We get given 1 day off a week to complete the studies, this is not enough and be prepared to overrun into your weekend.
My employer is very understanding of the university time. We do not get disturbed within the study blocks.
We are allowed time when needed.
My qualification doesn't currently relate to my role, so i find this a bit tricky.
