Within my role, I must handle all calls, voicemails, emails, face book requests and retail support requests. This involves helping customers resolve orders with missing items or incorrect items. We also help our retailers when they have technical issues with their hand held tablets used to take orders and we help when they are unsure with orders.
I have learnt a myriad of skills from my time as an apprentice. I have learnt how to properly conduct and email to a customer and to a retailer. I have also learnt how to communicate things in a way that is efficient to our IT developers and I have learnt how to stay calm under pressure.
I thoroughly enjoyed my programme and courses with QA. My assessor was one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. At QA they really care about their apprentices and want to help them succeed. Every tutor I had was very hands on and always helped everyone.
Due to Covid-19, the programme had no chance but to change its structure. I felt that given the circumstances, this organisation did very well to keep things structured and organised. We always had dates with specific courses and specific tasks per day. We always had scheduled meetings with specific minutes too.
Throughout my apprenticeship, I achieved an incredible amount of my support from my employer, making sure I was given two hours a week to complete any tasks that were set by my assessor for my apprenticeship and always offered help when I needed it. I was also always given time off for my courses, even elective ones.
My training provider was excellent in supporting me to learn. My assessor would always give me constructive feedback on any work I did before we submitted it and always answer any questions I had in a way that was easy to understand without being patronising. All tutors on the courses had the same attitude and were happy to help.
