As a network engineer, I am responsible for maintaining the network of across three sites, configuring switches, firewalls, and basic patching jobs as well maintaining the wifi network
I started with 0 knowledge of network, but now i am able to confidently maintain the sites i work in
I enjoyed in class learning the most as i was able to confer with people in similar situations as me, it is nice to learn
Very well structured and organised, i haven’t seen any major issues
Enough for me to complete the programme i am on, they allow and trust me to complete the tasks as i can
A lot of support is provided if it is requested
I have learned skills in the pathway specific modules which have given me a better understanding of networks
Not since covid, but there were occasional nights out prior
Yes
Because they have allowed me to come in without a shred of knowledge and not made me feel like I should ever know morw
Put your foot in the door by asking to move to another role if you feel that you’d be better suited in another area
