We provide tech support by both phone and live chat to employees of computershare. We also complete request tickets for user who need access to systems or need to have changes and fixes made to these applications. We work all beek both mornings and nights as we have members accross the world
I have improved my ability to type quickly and accuratly to keep up with the pace of the job and completing tickets quickly. I also improved my talking skills as i have to constabtly interact with user with different levels of english that need help and support which is difficult
It is a very enjoyable experiance that makes my day feel much more full and engaging. I dont dread working each day as i have a strong support team to ease the pressure off when things get more difficult and complicated. I am always learning new things with each system
it is a well structured company with clear lines of progressin and seniority. We report directltly to our line managers who will support us and pass any feedback to the head of the department who is then able to talk with the next person in the chain of command easily
i receive lots of support from my employer as they are constantly looking to help us with any issues we are having wheather it be with additional learing that we are undertaking or with any issues we are having with calls when people are being difficult to talk to on the phone
It is a lot of support from the traing team with constant feedback on the work we are doing every day. they are always looking for feedbback to better improve their style and are looking for ways to make our learnig experiance more fufilling and easier to complete to a high standard
With the qualifications and skills that i learn on the cources i am able to direclt turn these to my work as they cover a lot of the points that i do on a daily basis with managing systems, setting up users accounts and modifiying users access to a new system
There are normally lots of extra curricular activities to take part in but due to the covid pandemic all of these of mostly been cancelled and i have been unable to attend them. but there is a good amount of compitiions and groups that still go on throught the year

It is a good company with a strong salary , space to expand into extra roles within. lots of learning opppertunities to improve your skills while also not being bombarded with work that needs to be completed and it also has a lot of great people working at the company to help
Make sure that you have a basic knowledge of computers as this will help you power through the first few weeks of issues you will be faced with. Pay attention in trainging as you will be given a lot of very precise and important information that you will need to use everyday
