  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day responsibilities may vary, however during the first half of every month, the data load activities commence. The data is loaded either through a series of automatic links from a database, or manually loaded by myself. Governance steps are then carried out on the data, vs the previous month, to check for correctness.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme was well organised and structured. I started in September 2019 and by October I had my first meeting with my Learning coach from ARCH here she showed my the roadmap of my programme and what would be happening when. This enabled me to know when my class room lessons would be for my exams, when I would sit my exams and when my estimated off-boarding date would be.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • By gaining my qualifications from my training provider and attending the class room lessons I have learnt how to use and write SQL this has enabled me to link the software tool to a database so that the data is extracted automatically and loaded without manual intervention. This in turn saving time on the whole data loading process.
