I am a business admin support apprentice. I support my pods management team with a vary of tasks. I attend meetings, take minutes, create and take control of spreadsheets, analyse data, present presentations, organise team engagement and book in meetings looking at my teams schedules.
I have learnt how to organise myself in a more efficient way such as using teams and outlook calendars along with one note. There is so much stuff I have learnt in such a small amount of time and I am looking forward to learning more valuable information and skills.
10/10. I love my job and the opportunities it has given/ will give me.
Very organised. Everything has already been set up for us since the day we arrived.
My manager gives me so much support which I am grateful for but it doesn't stop there. The organisation as a whole is so helpful and friendly and want to see you succeed. All apprentices were also given a mentor each who previously started as an apprentice.
I get a lot of support. It is a lot of work and can be stressful and a lot of it you have to do by yourself, however, I know if I need help it will be given to me.
6/10. I do feel as a lot of the work from the training provider doesn't relate to much of the stuff I do in my role and can be very general however I do know this will still help me in the future with other roles or tasks.
Yes there are so many! The ones I have seen are all during lunch and virtual as we are currently in a pandemic. We have a women, christian, mothers, diversity, sports and may more networks.
Yes
Such an inclusive, friendly and supportive organisation who really care about their staff. You do feel very looked after in all aspects including mental and physical health.
An amazing opportunity which will teach you so much. If you are not sure on what you want to do in life this apprenticeship is a great stepping stone which will help build you.
