  • I am the business engagement lead in the media and creative technology team as part of a wider consumer experience team. I am the go to person for all things shoppability / effortless to buy solutions for both colleagues and external partners

  • I have learnt the importance of catering the information you deliver to your audience. I need to have a full understanding of the technical capabilities and be able to translate them to the markets who want to understand the business benefits.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, I am glad that I chose this path post A-levels and feel that the balance of working and studying works well for me. Unilever is a great place to grow and the friendly culture puts you at ease.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well structured in terms of work vs study balance. I always receive my 20% off job hours to study, however, I feel that there could be more awareness around the studying with LMs

  • I received lots of support and encouragement in my work and there is a big focus on well-being.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I always am allocated my 20% off the job hours, however, I feel there could be more guidance during exam season.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I don't find my degree helps me to perform better in my role directly, content wise. On the other hand, I feel that having the qualification to complete helps me with my time management which is beneficial.

  • Yes, since COVID restirctions are easing, there are lots of social activities to get involved in. Sports, socials, learning events.....

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great opportunity to get stuck into work and learn at the same time. It suits my personality to have a balance of university and career. I feel like I have learnt so much in a short space of time.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Be yourself. You aren't expected to know everything but you must be willing to learn it. Also, it is important to know in yourself why you want to apply to Unilever.
