I have learned skills on the job that have developed me into becoming a manager and knowing what my role entails and the expectations I must meet. I have learned further skills on my apprenticeship which enhance what I have already learnt on the job and has given me tools to strengthen my skills.
I was very pleased with the apprenticeship I have completed.
The apprenticeship I have taken was very well structured into set modules with set behaviours and standards to meet in each. There were workshops for each modules to help develop our understanding of what was expected on each module and the tasks we had to complete.
My employer is very supportive of my apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship allocates mentors who are an amazing help when completing the modules and answering any questions you might have. I had a particularly good mentor who supported me massively when I had fallen behind due to unforeseen circumstances and helped me catch up and achieve the results.
The skills I have developed during my apprenticeship helps me to strengthen my management skills and tools that I use on a day to day basis.

Yes
I have always been happy to work for Travis Perkins PLC and this is why I have worked here for the amount of time I have and have started to work my way upwards within the company.
Go for the opportunities that you feel you would work well in and enjoy, apprenticeships are a lot of hard work but worth the skills you gain and the results you achieve.
