    8/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • New skills revolve around the robot stuff as never done this before. However mechanical stuff is second nature to me.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Very much so, a classic working environment. And enjoy the pay check

    8/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Information and structure is lost abit due to being such a large company. But in the grand scheme of things not too bad

    7/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • All the support I need, I have managers and supervisors working onsite and great support of colleagues too

    10/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I believe make uk, previously known as eef is the let down to the course. Have tutors barely qualified and don’t know what they’re doing. And provide no help in class. Waste of space. Along with messing up my grades and being downgraded.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I’ve learnt nothing at make uk, apart from a few things in robotics and cad software. Of which was only briefly touched on so could not use it confidently again

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I’m not aware of any run by JLR but the lads often go play golf together and used to have a mini 6 a side

    5/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it leads to a great courier for life

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
  • Stomach the first year through college and then doesn’t get too bad after as it’s just day release for a year. Be open friendly and talkative with people and you won’t go far wrong
