My role is to assist our specialist department in creating and scheduling their sales. Furthermore, I'm also involved in regular meetings in which we plan our schedules with our operation department. My day-to-day tasks vary from organising our systems in JDE and Master Calendar, creating sales in Exhibita Pro, art handling, and much more.
So far with my experience at Christie's as an apprentice, I am extremely privileged to learn skills such as communication and organisational skills; and learn their importance.
I am extremely enjoying my apprenticeship. I've been fortunate enough to experience our auctions, see many luxurious paintings and meet amazing colleagues and learn from them.
I believe that Christie's apprenticeship program is well structured and organised. I continually receive support from my study provider in Multiverse for my qualification. Moreover, my team has guided me as I grow to learn our process in Christie's.
I'm a strong believer that Christie's has provided me with every support I need to make the most of my apprenticeship. From kind and helpful colleagues to a very interactive study provider, I am grateful for the support I get from Christies.
Multiverse, my training provider, is very active and always keen to help with any inquiries (both career and study side). They host many events and seminars to connect with other apprentice and build connections.
My study helps me learn the basics of how businesses operates therefore, it allows me to know the basics of our operation in Christie's.
Due to the lockdowns, there hasn't been many social activities. But from my understanding, in the past Christie's host many social events for us to get involved with. Socially, I enjoy the culture in Christie's as I've felt supported during my time as an apprentice.
