I run the CNC machines. This means I program the machine then load the material in and machine the component. Then I would be stopping the machine along the way to check measurements.
Yeah I’ve learnt how to program and run CNC machines. And use CAD and CAM systems. And been on training courses. I’ve also been trained on use of overhead cranes.
I think it’s good and you learn a lot but not rushed to learn it. It gives you time to learn all you need before you are employed in your roll
I think it’s good as college one day a week then in work for the other 4 days so you get to learn what to do and how to do things safely. While being paid
You get lots of support and there’s plenty of people to talk to if you needs and any issues with work or the course or home can be made confidentialy
Lots of support with tasks being regularly set online and reminders of deadlines for tasks
I think it’s helps as teaches you how to do your job safely and you get a better understanding of what actually goes on when you do certain operations.
There are however I don’t do any as I’m busy already
Yes
It’s well paid good training program and a safe working environment. And you work with good people
Just try your best at collage and keep on top of your work.
