Auditing the financial statements of clients. This entails performing tests of details on the various FSLIs within the accounts. I will pick samples from detailed listings for which the client will provide supporting evidence. I will then test these sqamples to ensure the evidence corresponds to the amount per the TB
Lert the fundamentals of auditing, time management and juggling work
It is enjoyable however fairly monotonous. I do not believe I have had a fair experience of the job due the Corona pandemic. It is quite dull working from home and not meeting your colleagues.
The training and development is well organised, however as an associate many of the client engagements I was put on were short and therefore limited my learning as I was moved so often and not given much responsibility.
Support is always on hand from your peers and coaches who will offer coaching and always happy to help.
You will go on a course prior to any exams in which you receive full tuition ahead of all exams.
The qualification definitely helps you to understand the work you are doing and why. It also better helps you to understand the reasoning behind the work you perform. However, the actual application of the job differs to that from the exams.

A well renowned company that looks great on the CV and you come out of your placement year part qualified, although it is hard work!
Work hard and make sure you give yourself plenty of time for the exams. Don't be afraid to ask questions
