I worked on auditing clients which involves corroborating that the numbers in the financial statements are free from misstatement and show a true and fair view.
I have developed my communication skills in regards to speaking to colleagues as well as clients.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. It was challenging at times but it was a great learning experience and I look forward to joining as a graduate.
The programme is very well structured. We are allocated time for college to complete our professional qualification as well as allocated time for necessary training.
The was an unbelievable amount of support from PwC. There was a wellbeing team that focused on looking after yourself whilst also working to your best ability.
As mentioned before, we are specifically timetabled college time which means that we have time to learn and revise before exams which is really helpful.
You learn a lot in college that you can actually apply in real life working scenarios. Specifically around substantive/controls testing.
During COVID, we were restricted to how much we could do face-to-face, however, PwC did put on a lot of virtual events which were really fun and helped get to know others.
