  • 1. Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
  • The work experience mainly involved presentations and some interactive work. The presentations were on a wide range of topics, ranging from application and interview tips to an insight in different areas of law and business - like commercial awareness and street law. The interactive sessions allowed us to discuss and debate the situation at hand.

  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?
  • From the interactive sessions, I really learned how to communicate properly in a legal setting, and use my own knowledge and the internet to apply that in a law environment. It helped me be really insightful when doing tasks and thinking outside the box to come to an answer on topics I have never encountered before and wouldn't know what to do (having no prior law knowledge)

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • There were loads of opportunities for networking and meeting people, as there were many question and answer presentations and we met a lot of different people through meeting our mentors and being able to ask them questions. As well as this, when we were in our interactive groups we were able to discuss amongst ourselves, and the final networking lunch was very helpful in meeting everyone too.
