The programme consisted of a mixture of live events, including presentations from solicitors, barristers and other experts, and a few tasks on the forage platform. We discussed things as groups and asked questions and learnt about commercial law, street law, business law etc.
I learnt communication and teamwork skills, speaking to other students on the programme. I also learned to analyse contracts and form debates and arguments.
I extremely enjoyed it. The programme was highly interactive compared to other virtual events.
It was really well organised. There were many members of Pinsent Masons at every live event to speak to the students as well as fixed timings, including breaks.
The culture was really friendly, valuing teamwork and commitment.
I am more likely to choose a career in commercial law due to the work experience because of the friendly working environment.
I was not paid.
Yes, we were able to connect via linkedin and the group chat on the forage platform.
Yes
I really like the working environment. Stress seemed minimal even during the virtual events. There is also a lot to learn from the solicitors and barristers.
Do not be put of by the length of the application process.
