Acting as a Database administrator, tester, developer and general project support, this allows a good insite into what the conpany does and allows you to make a more informaed decision into the pathway you choose to follow with the company. This also allows you to settle on project life and to learn key new skill which will help you progress throughout the comany.
Project related programmes and testing software has been developed along with the standard Java programming language and SQL / PL/SQL
It is always a different experience jobing a new project and you are keen to develop your skills to progress to bigger and better roles on project.
Capgemini has a strong feeling of care towards its apprentices
Although many projects and assignments are given with very short notice this is expected for the type of work which is undertaken
QA meet with apprentices on project and tries to support its learners although is unorganised in its meetings
Capgemini supports its employees with a variety of training and helps employees to develop skills needed for project life
Capgemini meets any additional costs involved in travel or stay to sites which isnt your 'home' location. No out of pocket expenses are incurred as a relation to project life.

Capgemini is a well structured programme for school leavers and gives you a good stepping stone to work giving you experience and learning which is better than a Uni leaver with no experince.
The application process can be a little drawn out but be yourself and dont be too keen to chace results from interviews.
