I manage all of the corporate recruitment requirements across the departments at M&B, including HR, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Property, Legal, IT.
Every day I am learning in my role, adapting and reacting to the everchanging external factors that surround recruitment for Hospitality in a post COVID world - Also my apprenticeship journey is keeping me proactive with my learning
I am thoroughly enjoying my programme, I have completed and passed all of my assignments and now working towards my end point assessment. Everyone at Crosby has been really supportive and I was lucky enough to attend the residential trip via Crosby. Such a valuable and memorable experience. Was great to meet other students studying their L3 & L5 HR Consultancy.
Very well organised and structured
My employer allows me to have 1 day off a week to dedicated OTJ hours, so supportive!
My Tutor has been fabulous! She has recently left but I feel that I am in safe hands to get me through my EPA.
I think it massively helps as it provides me with a wider understanding across all elements of HR.
Due to COVID this hasn't been happening but prior to that we had a social committee that would arrange social activities for the teams to get involved in - we would have a social night every pay day Friday. Also if there's any professional events that I want to attend my employer is very accommodating.
Yes
It's a great place to work, the people are amazing, it can be challenging at times being in hospitality but it is rewarding and you can build your career with M&B. I have been working there for 7 years now and in that time held 3 different positions and had a promotion. Highly recommend. Also the benefits package is fab - company car for mobile workers and 33% discount in all our brands. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else!
Feel free to reach out to the recruitment manager to find out more information about the role, M&B and the Culture - we'd love to hear from you!
