I deal with customer query's regarding banking or there banking / saving accounts e.g. balance enquiry doing money movements , blocking re issuing cards , stopping cheques and getting the customer through to other departments such as fraud , business banking and so on
I have developed more confidence when talking to people so i would say communication is a bit part of my development , team work skills working in the role as expanded my knowledge on how to work in and as a team.
I have enjoyed every bit of the programme but in some instances the role can get mentally draining and repetitive but i always look at the bright side and just want to help customers with there call's and provide a service that is second to none.
It has been decently structured by having slots placed in my calendar and having help with my development time
It is a fair amount i get i receive 1-2 hours a week for development time so either completing outstanding tasks for BPP or doing my maths , and if i ever need any more time i can always ask and they will support the best they can.
with my training provider we do have monthly 1-1's to discuss how we are getting along and if i do need any support i can just email them for questions or concerns
it has helped me a lot i have grown a lot since i first started as i was a very shy and nerves on calls but now I'm really happy and this has gave me the push to help me progress further.
Currently there has not been alot happening due to covid but the company have been hosting local community charity events to raise money for charity's that anyone can get involved in such as walks hikes etc.
Yes
Lovely company with lovely managers its a great place to learn and push yourself if you are looking for something to kick start your career
be open and stick with it as it will pay off , I'm the last one out of my group to stay on and if you are serious about progression and want the experience to show on your cv you need to be mentally strong
