For my first placement with PWC Manchester B&CM i was involved with a wide range of different tasks and a wide variety of different clients. As part of the audit team some tasks i would undertake include control and substantive testing, documentation and having discussions and walkthroughs with clients.
My first placement really helped me to improve on my people skills through communicating with my team and clients and also my microsoft excel skills which was especially important working with PWC as i spent most of my time on placement working with their Aura EGA system, which is an excel based system.
Maybe more sporting opportunities eg football/rugby teams
Yes
PWC was a very friendly and accomodating place to work, i always felt welcome in the office and felt well taken care of out of the office
To just go for it, definitely a brilliant opportunity and company to work for
